Air-medical operations demand precise coordination between ground units, flight crews, receiving facilities, and weather — and most of it is still stitched together across separate tools and a lot of radio. Aircraft readiness and maintenance status live in a system the dispatcher cannot see, so a mission is accepted before anyone confirms the airframe is actually available. LZ hazards — wires, slopes, obstacles — are communicated verbally on a busy frequency and lost the moment the call ends. The go/no-go decision, the most consequential call in the operation, is made without the weather, the risk, and the airframe status in one place.
